The Smashing Pumpkins are back! …sort of. Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlain and some other folks that are probably not D’arcy or James Iha are recording a new album (Zeitgeist) and going on tour. I still think it’s cool, everybody knows that Billy Corgan is the Smashing Pumpkins, except when he’s Zwan, which is when he Zucks. Anyway, the tour starts on 5/22/07 in Paris, France.
I am the proud owner of every Smashing Pumpkins studio album and I am really looking forward to Zeitgeist. Expect youtube to be flooded with videos of my amazing solo acoustic performances of classic SP tunes.
